About me

My formal education is technical and has focused primarily on quantum physics.  I earned my B.S. in physics from Boston College and began my Ph.D. in physics at Brown University, before leaving to start a company working to innovate women’s healthcare.

I worked in various technical roles from an optics research lab, where I met my co-founder, to NASA as a researcher working on quantum computing networks and later an astrobiology project.  I also worked as a research fellow at Harvard University on digital quantum computation, following my undergraduate thesis on topological quantum computation.

I am passionate about improving the quality of and access to women’s healthcare through a startup I founded, which was initiated following my own personal frustration with medical imaging.  Our company is working with some of the top hospitals, scientists, and entrepreneurs in the world to solve this problem and empower women through access to better medical imaging.
